Ladies Man

Another Saturday Night Live sketch character tries, futilely, to stretch to feature-length proportion in this lame comedy from director Reginald Hudlin (House Party, Boomerang). Tim Meadows stars as Leon Phelps, a smooth-talking, self-proclaimed expert on females and seduction who dishes out inappropriate advice (his mantra is to have sex “in da butt”) on a late-night radio talk show. Leon’s reputation for having the “fastest, loosest wang” in Chicago is framed by dueling subplots involving a former lover who wants to share her pending inheritance with him and a group of men (led by Will Ferrell) who want to kill Leon for having sex with their wives.
