Everybody loves a good homecoming story, right? For a long time, on any given night, you could find Low Flying Owls playing on some local stage. Then the Owls moved east, and even though they’re all over the road, turning the rest of the world on to their Leary-eyed vision of neo-psychedelic rock, they still manage to turn up often enough to maintain a connection. Saturday, March 6, the Owls return to Capitol Garage, 1427 L Street, with former labelmates the Proles and the New Strange. It’s a strong bill—three very good bands with deep Sacramento connections, playing together on one stage. The 18-and-over show commences at 9 p.m., and admission is $8.
