Inside vision
Thursday, December 3, The Last Laugh
Film has its own rules for analyzing it as art because filmmakers can utilize so many tools to bring vision to life. The Crocker Museum has a new film series devoted to the subject. The museum will screen The Last Laugh, a 1924 German expressionistic film that boasts some of the most impressive lighting and cinematography ever. The film will be introduced by film historian Kristen Anderson Wagner. A Q&A follows. $15; 6 p.m. Thursday, December 3. Crocker Art Museum, 216 O Street; www.crockerartmuseum.org.
