In bloom in Rocklin

Vegan eateries must be in season in the Rocklin and Roseville area, because another plant-based restaurant recently bloomed. Pho Asian Vegan Cuisine is located in Rocklin (at 6661 Stanford Ranch Road, to be exact), and, as its name indicates, it has a menu full of dishes inspired by several Asian countries, including Mongolian mock beef, Korean noodle, pad Thai and Vietnamese vermicelli. There are also, of course, spring rolls, avocado smoothies and the Asian novelty drink du jour, pearl drinks—a.k.a. boba tea, a.k.a. bubble tea. Plus, lots of faux meat—it’s ubiquitous on the menu. Pho Asian Cuisine joins the recently relocated all-vegan Baagan from its Roseville space to Rocklin (2620 Sunset Boulevard, Suite 1) and raw vegan The Green Boheme, which also recently relocated from north Sac to Roseville (1611 Lead Hill Boulevard, Suite 160).
