Doctor Who vegan cakes and more

If there is anyone in the Sacramento area who is concerned that they cannot get a two-tiered Doctor Who-themed vegan wedding cake that has a bride and groom rushing into a TARDIS as a topper, please put their mind at ease, because Linda’s Sweet Vegan Delights has just made such a cake. Of course, proprietor Linda Wilkins also makes classic wedding cakes, too, as well as birthday cakes and cupcakes and cake pops, among other treats. As a cottage food operation, Wilkins specializes in vegan, sugar-free, gluten-free and soy-free baked goods. She said she recently made the decision to leave her day job to pursue opening a commercial “full-blown bakery” with a coffee bar.
