Idle Hands

This gruesome comedy-horror flick is more repulsive than funny or frightening. A demonic spirit takes over the right hand of teen stoner Anton (Devon Sawa), who then murders his parents and pals (Seth Green and Elden Henson as wise-cracking, horny undeads), and attacks everyone within reach. Anton finally amputates and microwaves the evil extremity, but the uncooperative body part escapes, goes on a rampage and stalks Anton’s dream girl (Jessica Alba) at a Halloween dance. The film wants to resurrect the ghoulish fun of An American Werewolf in London but fails. Directed by Rodman Flender (“Dawson’s Creek”).
