It’s time for Sacramento’s 38th Annual Greek Festival! Special features include Greek dancing, delicious Greek cuisine, the Greek Island Images art show, yummy Greek food, films on Greece, fabulous Greek meals, a Hellenic cultural display and cooking demonstrations so you can learn how to make all that sumptuous Greek cuisine. (Did I mention the wonderful food?) The festival begins on Friday with a special deal for those who work in the city - from 11am to 3pm the admission is free and there’ll be lunches for sale. The festival runs from noon until 11pm Friday through Sunday at the Sacramento Convention Center, 13th and J St. Admission is $4 adults, free for kids. Call 443-2033 for info.
