Holly jolly?
Even the most well-adjusted among us can be overwhelmed by holiday activity. We eat more, drink more, spend more and fight our way through crowded events and stores on much less sleep. It’s enough to make an angel cranky. To help you manage your holiday health, the University of California, Davis, Center for Healthy Aging invites you to a free lecture called “Creating More Joy in Your Life: A Holiday Special.” Marjorie Trogdon, a therapist with UC Davis Human Resources, will share hints for meeting the challenges of the holiday season. The lecture will be held from noon until 1:30 p.m. on Monday at the Sierra Health Foundation, located at 1321 Garden Highway. Admission is free, but reservations are requested. Call (916) 734-4560 for more information.
