Highlander: Endgame
Immortals destined to battle each other throughout the ages mix it up once again in this incoherent, sword-wagging, century-hopping, globe-trotting meeting of Good and Evil. TV and movie series clansmen Duncan (Adrian Paul) and Connor McLeod (Christopher Lambert), respectively, must decide who will decapitate the other to magically gain the strength needed to keep a renegade (Bruce Payne) from becoming Earth’s only immortal. The swordplay is fine, the repeated stadium-rock pyrotechnics are tiring and the excessive narrative exposition is sleep-inducing in an adventure that has more editors (seven) than memorable scenes (the entrance of Hong Kong action star Donnie Yen).
