He Loves Me … He Loves Me Not

Amelie’s celebrated Audrey Tautou stars as the budding art student Angélique, who has just won a coveted scholarship to paint and exhibit several new works. She is madly in love with a married cardiologist (Samuel Le Bihan) who may or may not be reciprocating her devotion and passion equally. The intriguing story has a fractured structure that is filtered through the eyes of the love-struck lass initially. Then, the film shifts points of view and emotional gears as the relationship is fast-forwarded and replayed through the doctor. This highly entertaining tale of obsession and delusion is written and directed by newcomer Laetitia Colombani.
