Goodbye, green Governator

Yes, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger purportedly drove a fleet of Hummers. But when he was elected governor, he ditched the gas-guzzling models for three that run on vegetable oil, biodiesel and hydrogen. And though his term is soon to be terminated, Gov. Schwarzenegger will be throwing the third and final Governors’ Global Climate Summit at UC Davis. It costs $150 or more to register, but additional free summit-related events will be held on campus. It takes place throughout the day Monday and Tuesday, November 15 and 16, at the Mondavi Center, 1 Shields Avenue in Davis.
