Fans of small-cast theater productions should really get off on the Sacramento Solo Festival at California Stage, because you can’t get much smaller than a solo performance. This year’s lineup features five plays that will run, in varying order, Thursday-Sunday through Feb. 25. This week, An Evening With Langston, about poet Langston Hughes, plays 8 p.m. Thursday; Burnished by the Flames makes its world premiere 8 p.m. Friday; the comedy Dancing Naked in the Universe plays 8 p.m. Saturday; Bedlam and Other Stories is the 2 p.m. Sunday matinee; Legacy comprises two plays (Lucy’s Story and Friendly Fire), both based on life in California in the 1850s. California Stage is located at 1721 25th St. General admission is $12, and students, seniors, SARTA members and people in groups of four or more pay $10 each. For more information call 451-5822.
