What would happen if, say, nearly a dozen artists sat down to interpret the same subject matter? Model Amber Cook posed for a group, which included Fred Dalkey, Stephanie Taylor, John Bowler Jr., Jian Wang, Ken Waterstreet, Alan Post, Corey Okada, John Tarahteeff, Lynn Smith and Helen Post; Cook also contributed to the show. The results, which range from sketches to finished art, will be on display at Solomon Dubnick Gallery from Friday, August 31 through September 28; an opening reception will be held Friday, August 31, from 6 to 9 p.m. Solomon Dubnick Gallery is located at 2131 Northrop Avenue, just west of Howe.
