Larry Meeks writes a syndicated advice column for people who are interested in race and gender issues. Meeks also is a sculptor who works primarily with steel and other metals. At his current show, at the Elliott Fouts Gallery in Granite Bay, Meeks has on display a number of these metal sculptures, including a life-sized six-piece jazz band, rendered in a style he describes as “unique, action-oriented and whimsical.” Elliott Fouts Gallery is located at 4120 Douglas Blvd., Suite 305.
