Ginger ale kicks
I’ve been on a ginger ale kick this year, and a fascinating one is Blenheim Ginger Ale. Around since 1903, it comes in “Hot” and “Not As Hot” spice levels. The milder version, available at OneSpeed (4818 Folsom Boulevard) is smooth and sweet, with a nice spicy surprise after it’s swallowed. The “Hot” version is akin to drinking sriracha sauce—minus the garlic, of course. It’s perfect for those who abuse chilies or hot sauce (I’m talking to you, Greg Lucas), and it’s available at Roxie Deli and Grocery (3340 C Street), and both are available at Fat Face (425 L Street, Suite C in Davis).
