Get Over It

Ben Foster loses his girlfriend to the new kid in school, a smarmy actor with an obviously phony British accent. To win her back, he auditions for the school play, directed by the pretentious Dr. Forrest-Oates (Martin Short). Kirsten Dunst, Foster’s best friend’s younger sister, helps him become an actor. And slowly true love blooms. With witty dialogue, funny daydream sequences, a minimum of gross-out humor tableaux and great supporting roles, this film is both funny and clever.
