It's a wonder why art and food don't converge more often. At YoloArts' eighth annual Art Farm Gala, both Yolo County's agricultural and artistic talents will be up for celebration and consumption. Original paintings, ceramics and photographs will be inspired specifically by local farmlands. Enjoy small bites from Cache Creek Casino Resort, Kitchen428 Restaurant, Ludy's Main Street BBQ & Catering, Monticello Seasonal Cuisine and other chefs. Plus, goodies from Good Humus Produce, Full Belly Farms, Manas Ranch, Buckeye Creek Farm, Copperhill Olive Oil and Henry's Bullfrog Bees. Regional wineries will pour alongside Woodland breweries Black Dragon Brewery and Blue Note Brewing. Art Farm takes place 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, November 6, at the Historic Woodland Hotel, 436 Main Street. General admission tickets cost $30 in advance, or $35 at the door, with proceeds benefiting YoloArts' Art and Ag project, Yolo Land Trust and Yolo Farm to Fork. More at www.yoloarts.org.
