Garden gathering

Everyone is invited to the Ron Mandella Community Garden’s 30th Spring Celebration this Saturday. The day begins with a free vegan lunch served by Food Not Bombs, followed by speakers, raffles, children’s activities and self-guided garden tours. At sunset, Tara Stiles will lead Tai Chi among the flowers. After dark, the party moves to the Clunie Auditorium for a benefit concert by world music band Out of Kelter with dancing and refreshments. The garden party begins at noon and is free. The Mandella Community Garden is on 14th and Q streets. All proceeds go to the campaign to save the Mandella Community Garden.
