Fur’s no fun

TGIFFF. No, the “F” isn’t stuck on the keyboard: It’s Fur Free Friday, also the same day as Black Friday, November 26. Although the Fur Information Council of America calls using fur “the natural, responsible choice,” vegan or not, it’s hard to imagine how skinning animals alive for their pelts is responsible. There’ll be a demonstration on the public sidewalk by Arden Fair mall’s main entrance at 11:30 a.m. What good can come of it? Awareness? A countrywide ban on fur, like Israel is contemplating?
