Friendly reminder

It’s Music Circus time! Lovers of musicals will congregate at the Wells Fargo Pavilion (15th and H streets), where The Sound of Music plays July 5-13. Many ticket holders could probably sing along—this will be the 12th Music Circus mounting of the show.

Gypsy (rated by some as the greatest American musical) plays July 15-20. And Sweeney Todd plays July 22-27. Amazingly, this will be the first Music Circus production of this 1979 Stephen Sondheim classic. (Perhaps the recent Oscar-winning film version prompted them to take the plunge.)

The season continues through August 28, with Swing, My Fair Lady, Evita and Hairspray.
