The Beach Boys are unarguably the one band to embody the spirit of the California surf-rock sound. They're now grown men, but in their younger years, brothers Brian, Dennis and Carl Wilson, along with cousin Mike Love and friend Al Jardine, wrote music about classic cars, surfing in the sunshine, young romance and all things true to Southern California culture. Dennis and Carl have passed on, but you can still enjoy the rock 'n' roll sounds that invaded the early '60s at Thunder Valley Casino Resort's outdoor stage, as the casino's annual Summer Concert Series comes to a close.
