Smack Jupiter, Jaxx, Into the Open, Parie Wood, the Hungry (pictured), Southpaw Kings, Zach MacLachlan, Exhale, Conquest, Uncle Tony—these 10 Sacramento artists and groups are the lucky finalists you’ll catch performing on the Crest Theatre stage this Friday at SN&R’s ninth annual Jammies Night of Contemporary Music. And don’t be misled by the very proper “contemporary music” tag; this will be a night of rock ’n’ roll jams, touching songwriting and big sounds—all performed by the region’s up-and-coming under-18 talent.
