Support local music and join the crowd at indie rock five-piece Walking Spanish’s CD-release party in support of its new album, Wishbones. Since the launch of the band’s debut album, Not Yet Now, in 2007, Walking Spanish has been working toward the release of Wishbones, raising money through online fundraiser Kickstarter while frequenting the local bar scene, performing to a loyal fan base. With its previous style of ragtime pianos and vocalist Alex Nelson’s rock ’n’ roll swagger reminiscent of Julian Casablancas, one can only wait to hear what Walking Spanish has created this time around.
