Battaglia’s new EP Water Drop Flame dropped in March and holds true to her jam-rock fusion styling. The Chico native—who performs with a rollicking six-piece and sounds kinda like Dave Matthews Band, only good—is a NorCal staple of fusion rock done right. Which ain’t easy, because any time the term “fusion” enters the equation, you’re bound to fail. Alli fails not. Added bonus: Her group, Alli Battaglia & the Musical Brewing Co., has teamed up with the Placerville Food Co-op for this show and is donating a percentage of ticket sales to the co-op.
