This Friday's edition of Concerts in the Park is sort of an unofficial hard-rock-slash-metal night. It features Sacramento-area rock-bands galore, including headliners FallRise (pictured), a somewhat straightforward metal group with a few melodic guitar lines thrown in; Kill the Precedent, a blend of industrial drumming, hardcore vocals and metal crunchiness; Restrayned, with heavy-metal guitar riffs combined with melodic vocals; and Fair Struggle, an alternative-rock group. Local deejay and producer Z Rokk (Zac Diebels) opens up this adrenaline-fueled party.
