If you find yourself in need of a midsummer’s night malaise-buster, check out this Xmas in July show headlined by the aptly named Yule Logs. The Chico-based act, billing itself as the “hardest working band in snow business,” crafts smart Christmas-themed garage pop on tracks like “That Girl [for Christmas]” and “Northpole 45789.” The latter is so rich in la-la-las, it’ll make you feel as though you’re sitting in front of a cozy fireplace in your living room.
