I interviewed Go-Go Amy back in 2007 while covering the Vans Warped Tour in New Mexico. The middle of the summer in the Southwestern desert is akin to Dante’s seventh circle of hell—anyone can burst into flames at any moment. Yet, burlesque entertainer Go-Go Amy was gussied up like a vintage calendar girl and casually twirled an umbrella under the sweltering sun. Lucky for her, she soon stripped off the costume during her burlesque peep show.
