If you're in the mood to feel superior to your friends, tell them you're going to see Ben Sollee's show. They'll be like, “Who?” And you can be like, “Exactly.” And then when they leave Harlow's Restaurant & Nightclub at the end of the show sans any socks (for they will have been knocked clean off), you can be like, “I told you so.” The multi-instrumentalist specializes in cello and utilizing unusual techniques with said cello to create a blend of bluegrass, folk, jazz and classical music.
