He's a man with many names—Doey Rock, Mean Doe Green, Kahali Oden—but the local rapper, whatever you want to call him, is the real deal. He mixes banging club beats with clever lyrics and, more recently, words that are truly open and honest. Oden's new album It Ain't My Fault (the first of three albums set to be released in the upcoming three months) talks a lot about his struggles with alcoholism. The album cover—an actual picture of him at 8 months old being fed beer by his father—is unsettling and poignant. Some folks have reacted as though it was advocating children drink-ing alcohol.
