Singer-songwriter Clark Reese and his band are a folk-meets-blues-meets-alternative-meets-early-1920s group. Reese plays guitar, drums, mandolin, banjo, harmonica and a bit of piano. Local musicians Andrew Little, Mark McCoubrey and Willie Condrey complete the band that formed in 2012, and their first album together, Control and Expectations, drops August 3. Opening the show is Sacramento singer-songwriter Thomas Hatch, who recently released The Earth & the Moon pt. 1, and traveling from Texas on the western leg of her 2013 solo acoustic summer tour is Susanne Abbott.
