To call Uni—a.k.a. Heather Marie Ellison of Uni and Her Ukelele—“quirky” is incredibly insufficient. She's a 1930s Technicolor damsel with melodic moxie—and a tiny instrument. And everyone is invited to bring their own ukuleles for a free play-along session before the sold-out-but-there-might-be-a-few-tickets-at-the-box-office show of the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain at the Mondavi Center. During the play along, participants will rehearse “Relentlessly in C” and then will play it with the orchestra in Jackson Hall.
