Vegan wrap, anyone?
An eco-friendly fast-food franchise opened a restaurant in Folsom February 14. Freshii, a Canadian chain, offers vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free food options, all wrapped in biodegradable packaging. Diners who choose to eat in can bring their own bowl, have it washed and filled with their meal. Online, e-mail and iPhone ordering is available and all the appliances in the store are energy-efficient. According to The Sacramento Bee, a second Sacramento-area location is opening in within the next year. Freshii is located in the Broadstone Marketplace shopping center at 2776 E.
