Free comedy!

You can check out the work of this year’s crop of B Street Theatre interns, as four actresses will stage three free performances of Vrooommm! A NASComedy, September 11-13.

For those unfamiliar with the sport of auto racing, the title references NASCAR, the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing. In this play by Janet Allard, a driver named Holly “Legs” Nelson (the only woman on the circuit) is determined to shake things up. Be warned (or pleased): The play contains some grown-up subject matter and language, and even a streaking fan.

The show will feature four actresses who are completing their internships at B Street: Sylvia Kwan (University of Virginia), Maria Moody (University of Georgia), Megan O’Neil (North Central College), and Sylvia Stanton (Valdosta State University).
