Frankie’s way
“May you live to be 100 and may the last voice you hear be” … Frank Sinatra’s, obviously. Although the quartet of actors in My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra don’t come close to replicating Ol’ Blue Eyes’ smooth iconic voice, they successfully recreate his zest for a good time and add a new flair to his most beloved songs. The California Musical Theatre production features 58 classic Sinatra songs, jokes and facts about his life in a lounge-style show. The actors dazzlingly play off one another and harmonize beautifully. Laura Dickinson’s rendition of “You Go to My Head” is pure magic and chilling enough to leave goose bumps on everyone’s arms.
