Second only to my sorrow at not being able to trick-or-treat myself anymore is my regret that hardly any kids come to my house. This sad state of affairs means that I can’t really justify buying much Halloween candy, and it also means that I don’t get to see very many kids in costumes. In a few short years, my daughter will be old enough to trick-or-treat, but meanwhile I will have to get a Halloween fix in any way I can.
