Fish to fork

Fishing is hard work. And it requires a lot of luck. Now you can take effort and probability out of the equation with Siren Fish Co. (www.sirenseasa.com). For the last four years, Sacramento's Anna Larsen and her company have been connecting Northern California seafood lovers with fisherman in Bodega Bay and Fort Bragg, sending out a CSA-style seafood box to subscribers in several cities. The company just launched a new pickup location at Oak Park Brewing Company. If you're looking to join but have questions, you can probably just go grab a beer there and chat with Larsen every Tuesday— she's planning on making Tuesday-night happy-hour fish drop-offs a regular thing. Also, on Saturday, June 27, Larsen will teach a seafood sustainability and preparation class called Swish Swish Slow Fish through Slow Food Sacramento (http://slowfoodsacramento.com/
event/swish-swish-slow-fish/
). Happening from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Curtis Park, the class costs $30 and includes lunch.
