It finally resembles spring. The weather is warm and outdoor activities look more appealing. In fact, three events this weekend at Raley Field kind of warrant camping out there all weekend:
Brewfest happens Friday, May 13, from 7 to 10 p.m. It will highlight more than 40 local and regional microbrewers, with live music by 50 Stories and Private Criminals. Tickets include 10 5-ounce tastings and cost $30 in advance or $35 at the door; a $50 VIP ticket allows you early access to the event, and an additional 8 5-ounce tastings. Entry is free for designated drivers.
Sactopalooza happens Saturday, May 14, from 4 to 11 p.m. It features DJs Rigatony and Peeti-V plus tribute bands to Beastie Boys, Van Halen, Sublime, No Doubt, Journey, INXS, U2 and Dave Matthews Band. Sactopalooza will also have food and drink, a mechanical bull, laser lighting and fireworks. It’s put on by the Sacramento Active 20-30, a nonprofit that raises funds for Sacramento-area children’s charities. Tickets cost $25.
Endfest happens Sunday, May 15, at 3 p.m. Hosted by KDND 107.9 The End, the concert includes performances by Ke$ha, T-Pain, Far East Movement, the Ready Set, Hot Chelle Rae and Ian Knighton. Tickets cost $29.50-$39.50.
