Fake it

Gazing at birds in their natural habitat is stunning, but looking at fake wildlife is cool, too. By fake, we’re talking about wildlife artwork, such as bird woodcarvings, antique decoys and sculptures. The 40th Wildlife Art Festival will feature a wildlife art exhibition and sale on Saturday, July 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, July 11, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Doubletree Hotel, 2001 Point West Way. There also will be a variety of workshops and demonstrations, and hands-on art and educational activities for children. Tickets are $5 for the weekend and free for children 12 and younger.
