The Short Center Repertory, a theater company composed of actors with disabilities, offers a night of laughter with their hilarious production of Murray Schisgal’s Extensions. The play focuses on Betsy (Regina Brink) and Bob Abbott (Brian Hillebert), a vaudeville couple who is suffering at the hands of Hollywood life. Down and out, unable to find a gig, and abandoned by their so-called friends and family, Bob and Betsy ponder the game of life and luck over a hand of gin rummy. Extremely funny and very real, Extensions is a must see. F, Sa 8pm; Su 2pm. Through 1/30. $5-20. Short Center Repertory at the Three Penny Theatre in the California Stage complex, 1723 25th St.; (916) 451-5822. Call early for reservations; seating is limited.
