Erik Hanson

Some bands leave an indelible impression on listeners. For Erik Hanson, lead vocalist of the alt-country group the Cassidys, one of those groups is the Band, the influential roots-rock outfit whose final tour was immortalized in Martin Scorsese’s The Last Waltz. When asked to compile a Playlist for SN&R, Hanson only included tracks by the Band. It’s like he said: “As you can see, I’m deep in the Band fog.”
