Erica Quitzow
New York-based outfit Quitzow likens its sound to “getting lost in a Japanese strip mall while slightly intoxicated from love and otherwise.” It seems an accurate enough description of the band, which combines synthetic sounds with pop flavors and whimsical lyrics. Erica Quitzow, the band’s namesake, compiled this week’s Playlist, a collection of songs “about love in some capacity.” Quitzow plays Old Ironsides Thursday, February 7.
