Elvis has left the planet

Well, that’s my theory anyway. But whether you think the King is haunting the Jungle Room, grooving with Hendrix somewhere on the astral or working at a 7-Eleven in Poughkeepsie, we Elvis fans can agree to disagree long enough to celebrate the King’s birthday at the Downtown Holiday Ice Rink this Tuesday. KOOL 101.9 FM will broadcast Elvis hits from noon-8pm as local Elvis impersonators TCB in their rhinestone jumpsuits. The fried banana and peanut butter sandwiches (Presley’s favorite snack) will flow like tourists through the gates of Graceland. Skaters dressed as Elvis or Priscilla will receive free admission.
