Eight gigs: Yea-Ming & The Rumours

I was into Dreamdate, Yea Ming's former duo, and I'm currently into the Hideaway for local shows, so this matinee gig pretty much can't be beat. Yeah-Ming & the Rumours are fun Bay Area guitar pop with some indie-folk chill vibes. They'll go well with a cheap shot and a beer at the Hideway, which has become probably my favorite nonvenue venue in town. Opening is Arts & Leisure, whose lineup was recently tweaked with the addition of drummer and rec-softball extraordinaire Ed Carroll.
