Eight gigs: Whiskerman

The Whiskerman collection complicates genre norms. There are quiet, raw folk songs but also rock ’n’ roll ballads, symphonic feats and raucous celebrations for a barefoot dance hall. Singer-songwriter Graham Patzner, who also dabbles in violin, piano and guitar, can belt with soul like a gospel star or crackle like a smokey fire.
