Eight Gigs: The Pikeys

Drink like the Irish with the Pikeys during the band’s preferred day of debauchery, St. Patrick’s Day. Influenced by late nights and loud music from the Dropkick Murphys and the Young Dubliners, this band of hooligans relishes in traditional Irish tunes, but with a punk-rock core. Mandolin and a steady drum beat supply the head-bangin’ tempo for the song “Pissed Again,” while vocalist Ben Mentz provides raucous lyrics.
