Eight Gigs: The New Pornographers

OK, pensive hipsters, now let’s get in formation: the New Pornographers are swinging by Ace of Spades—a rare visit from Vancouver’s famed indie supergroup. Led by A.C. Newman, the New Pornographers boasts Dan Bejar, Kathryn Calder and sometimes (though not this weekend) alt-country star Neko Case. Expect plenty from 2014’s Brill Bruisers, the band’s sixth album since their 1999 inception.
