Eight Gigs: The Growlers

Southern California band the Growlers combine surf and garage rock with elements of pop and psych to create its unique sound dubbed “beach goth,” a label that encompasses all the aforementioned genres under one colorful umbrella. This weekend, the Growlers will trade surf and sand for cool, river-city vibes during its current U.S. tour, much of which is already sold out.
