It’s not a weird sight these days to see bearded, tattooed punk rockers slapping banjos and cranking out that good old-timey country-bluegrass. Fifteen years ago, the Devil Makes Three was not the norm. The three-piece mixes country, ragtime, bluegrass, really anything that can be tossed into the Americana category, but with pure punk-rock energy. They are without a drummer, something the members fully embrace as part of their sound.
