Eight Gigs: The Dandy Warhols
Mon., Dec. 7, 8 p.m., Harlow’s Restaurant & Nightclub, $25-$30
Among the Dandy Warhols' many fine qualities is the fact that they don't seem to have aged or changed much in the last decade-and-a-half, which makes you feel like perhaps you haven't either. The four-piece is still playing its particular brand of art-school garage pop, still riding the success of its irresistible tunes like “Bohemian Like You.” The band hasn't released much new material in the last couple of years, and from its rambling, possibly drug-addled, very fun bio, one gets the impression that they've avoided getting stuck in the hamster wheel of the industry and are all the better for it. 2708 J Street, www.dandywarhols.com.
