Eight Gigs: The Adolescents

Sure, there's something a little ironic about the band's name, the Adolescents, given its been putting out music since 1980. That's 35 years of SoCal-flavored punk rock, with a few breakups and lineup shuffles in between. Punk may age, but that doesn't mean it slows down, and 2014 saw the release of the group's most recent studio effort, La Vendetta, its fourth release in just as many years. The band members may not be adolescent anymore … but then again, neither are you, so get ready to mosh like it's the '80s all over again.
